Identifiable Data
The only data turned over to the NSA was the calling and called numbers and how long the call was. This is something the Supreme Court has already ruled is legal without a warrant and within the powers of the president to order. Now if they wanted personal information from the telephone company ot wanted to monitor the call that would be different and the monitor restriction is only valid if both ends of the call is in the U.S. If one end of the call is outside the U.S. The NSA doesn't need a warrant to monitor it.
