Both are wrong
Nice of both of your to highlight the rooted problem with the US govt. Both of you are on the opposite ends of the extreme. One who thinks that the govt has the right to poke and prod into everything and one who still doesn't believe that terrorists did in fact fly planes into the WTC.

Where is the middle on these issues?

This way the rest of us who took the time to research 9/11 and found out who really did it and aren't afraid of imaginary terrorists can get on with our lives with dignity, privacy, and meaningfulness..

So you conducted your own thorough investigation? Or just read about the conspiracy theories on the internet and bought into the hype? Yeah, I thought so. Where do you even find the time. I'm guessing you split your time between researching 9/11 and your obligations to the Flat Earth Society.
