A VERY short list...
If you read long enough, you'll see that the MPAA 'likes' TiVo, but favors Windows Media. Now that DVD is performing so well for them (both technically and fiscally), they wanna protect the recorded media. Anything that allows you to move COPY-PROTECTED (key term) content between devices actually seems to make them happy (for obvious reasons).

There's still a lot of people who don't know how to handle the fast-forward issue with television advertising. I personally don't know how to feel about this one...I love the feature, but how do you continue to produce something like "Lost" which costs a ton per episode to produce. Advertising has to stick around, but in what form?

I don't know...

My two cents.
