Sprint Nextel prepares to take on DSL
EVDO coverage in Baltimore and surounding counties is much better than DSL coverage. DSL is only avaliable a few miles surrounding the CO. Around my way, FIOS will not be to available for years. I would guess most major metro areas have the same issues. I beleve the real competition is Cable, not telco's. Cable internet around here is about $50 a month, which is close to the $60 EVDO costs.
