I guess Microsoft paid more than Verizon
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for consumer protection and against corporate powers. However, this is just another example of "money talks" and corruption.

The key phrase is "bowing to pressure from Microsoft and Yahoo", not "bowing to consumers' pressure".
