- Goodbye to Qwest for us...
- When my rep announced these new Live services, I immediately calculated the TCO and ROI numbers for us to dump Qwest as our phone company. My rep told me it was high time I set an example for our firm and ditch legacy land based phone systems. I called and cancelled our PBX contracts and told our sales people to "get used to it and deal with it". My rep congratulated me for standing firm on my beliefs and not giving in to sales guys. Although sales are important, I find we can make more money by leveraging synergies with Microsoft products. My rep took me out for breakfast. We held a true 21st century meeting. We used our Pocket PC and MS SmartPhones to email each other contracts and NDAs.
