what's old is new again?
I worked at a high tech startup in the late 1980's where we designed and planned out a hybrid fiber coax system for the folks at bellatlantic. They just didn't get it as a company. Shame too, as we were delivering 180mps to each home in a cluster of four homes. (fiber pair to curb, coax to four homes from that pedestal).

There's so "nothing new" in any of this.
