- Westberg - I think you are confusing coax with cat 5. We just overbuilt a city of 6000 subs with FTTH and every home we went into had coax cabling... it's what they are receiving their traditional cable TV service over. We had to re-wire with Cat 5, unless the home was built in the last few years and even then, they may only have coax. The writer is on the mark.
