Making the connection.

So long as the wireless connects to the wire in the building, the last mile remains essential.

The battle is over wireless connecting to wireless.

That requires building infrastructure and that requires capital and that requires a credit-worthy outfit large enough to make a widespread investment and that requires a decision to compete with the telco and cable companies in their own essential business.

With a few local exceptions, I think you're right to say "Once we see the mesh start to fill out..." rather than "When...".
