Perhaps..... BUT....
20 years ago we didn't have cell phones everywhere. Nor did we have VOIP. Nor did we have the potential for WiMax. No competition whatsoever existed 20 years ago. Now there is at least the hope that some of these other services will keep AT&T honest.
