AT&T to break-up the world's best communication company, went bellie up, and we are now stuck with ****** equipment that we have to buy. The AT&T of yester-year, supplied all the phones and lines inside and out, maintained all of equipment, all free. Drop a phone on floor, pick it up, put the phone on the hook and it still worked. And if it didn't, they would replace it.
Now we have SBC, who not long ago was claiming that they created our communication system, has bought AT&T lock, stock, and barrel, now can really claim they created the world.
