- A phone is a damn phone!!
-
The last thing I need is to be able to watch TV on a tiny LCD. If I want that, I'll buy myself a dedicated unit for the task that will have a screen worth looking at in the very least.
There's no point in trying to beef up phones with funky features that have no real practicality to them. And furthermore, there's no point in investing more and more money into the mobile networks to support these ridiculous features like iTunes as certain mobile carriers already have and so on. Instead, the investment should be made for the practical purposes - people with laptops or PDAs who want/need a mobile broadband internet link. We've gone as far as we have to go (at least in Australia) for voice quality. Now is the time to increase the data capabilities and quality of those.
And in the meantime, just give me a damn phone that can communicate and shove your phones with built-in cameras and MP3 players up your proverbials! - Posted by: Artstar Posted on: 03/04/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
