MobilTV;worthy?
Here is the real question about all of it:is it worth it? Have the companies blinded themselves to the market strategy that is truly relevant? They want to sell more phones. Wouldn't it make more sense to simply cut prices across the board, (unlike shortsighted Apple, who still hasn't learned the lesson)? Is there interest in having tv in the same situations that a mobile phone is relevant? Perhaps. But really, does the mass market want to pay the markup for what is essentially a novelty feature? Computer sellers have struggled from the beginning to retain high profit margins. The market didn't truly explode until the pricepoints began to fall below 1000 dollars, American. Cutesy, bell and whistles can't override the ethics of economy, ever.
