Broadband access NOT!
Do you know that the telcos were given $200 BILLION in incentatives, tax cuts, grants from the gov't for which they promised to bring broadband access to every home in th US? Where did the money go? The money that is brough in by the USF is supposed to help subsidize the cost of internet to rural education and hospitals, yet most of the money goes un-spent. Why? The telcos claim that it is too costly to provide service in those areas. So, here they collect the money, charge us a "recovery fee" to do so, then when asked to provide the service that the fee is supposed to pay for, they claim that they can't do it.

I have a land line for a security system, cost is $17.99 per month, however, the actual bill is $28.77 with all of the fees and taxes. $10.78 in fee and taxes is ridiculous.

Something needs to be done. This country was born out of revolution, maybe it's time again.

Say "NO" to the Status Quo.
