Yes if this tax is passed, even after it's done and long funded, it wont go away. Don't believe us, check out the tax for the spanish/american war, we're still paying that tax to this day if i recall.

Now, why should I have to help foot the bill because someone chose to live in rural areas and not use the technology available to them? I think this tax is bunk and we shouldn't fit the bill for something the states themselves should be funding out of their own pockets. This shouldn't be a federal level tax, should be only state and local government of the people who are whining about it. Hell, people from Alaska get paid every few months a pretty good amount thanks to that pipeline, maybe they should take some money out of those payments to help fund what this idiot is backing.
