What About Using The Oil Revenues?
Considering the fact that EVERY resident of the state of Alaska gets a check from the oil companies EVERY year (http://www.alaskabucks.com/links.html, amounting to about $1,000.00 annually) for the "privilege? having the pipeline run through their state, the citizens of the state ALREADY have the money to pay for Broadband hookups.

As usual, Sen. Stevens is completely out of touch with reality.

I thought the Republican Party was staunchly against welfare? sad
