Use technology instead of more TAXES!!!
Look, I understand and even agree that rutral areas need access, but that is where I part company with these elected politicals.

The solution is WiMAX and fixed WiMAX is here today! Is it as cheap as existing systems? No, but given a year or so for hardware prices to fall it will be. And that is going to happen a lot faster than anything the government can do.

My point is, STOP trying to suport dead paradigms of delivery and using them to justify more taxes. Let's be honest here. Does anyone think that once access is made available this tax wil go away? Not a chance in h*ll...
