- I recently had a hospital stay cut short by 8 days because of the IVs that you can take at home. It allowed me to return to work much faster and avoid the hassle of going in three times a day for more than an hour each time, to receive IVs. I know this is geared to save the hospitals money, but it also saved me a great deal by allowing me to return to work eight days sooner. I say please use your resources and creativity to further this avenue.
