This article was the first I'd heard of the 300M.
To be frank and joe about the division of funds - amount in cash versus promissories - I cannot tell even on a re-read. Was the investment 1000 million plus 300 million OR was the investment 700 million plus 300 million in promissories? None of the articles have been completely clear. I won't know for sure until I read the quarterly filings for both AOL/TW and Google. I don't really trust the media to tell me the truth.

As for the name? Pffftt... AOL, AOL/TW, TW, all the same to me! Heck, I'm just as likely to call the monstrosity "Warner Communications" on a bad day, since that's in what piece I last purchased stock - Atari's heyday. Man, the years go by...

Happy New Year - just like the old year, but new and improved.
