it's just plain stupid
for anyone to free to death in the winter or die of heat stroke in the summer. yet two elderly people in memphis tn had their power and utilities cut off in nov. they had to live without refrigeration or hot water for bathing until a couple of days ago. they are just two of thousands. there is more power flowing past memphis everyday in the mississippi river than is produced by the nuclear power plant at russelville ar. the technology now exists to harness that power. this is not some pie in the sky maybe 100 years from now crap, this is now and I know how to do it. all it takes is money to build the plant and someone to get it done. everywhere I look I see limitless power, and total freedom from imported oil. as long as the oil and power industry owns our goverment it will never get done.
