This right has large coattails . . .
In order for people to access this "right," they must also access others.

First, they need a computer that the public will have to buy for them. And being it is NY, they would never accept one of the $100 wind-up laptops that MIT is trying to get built for the 3rd world. They want an really good SONY VIAO that most of us cannot afford.

Second, they need a larger apartment that has an office in order to have space to use this technology. Again, we will have to buy them homes or guarantee to pay the difference in rent for this larger housing (EVERY landlord will see that coming and alter their rates accordingly).

Third, they will need time off of work (naturally assuming they have a job) in order to better exploit this technolgy.

If they do not work, they will sit on it 16-hours per day and find out that they need BIG_PIPE broadband, not that inhumane 256K crap. How long can this go on before they download billions in illegal movies, songs, and develop a few new scams and hacking tricks?

Next, they will want software to start their own businesses on the 'net.

Blah, blah, blah.

Where will it end? What will taxpayers have to fork out in order to create the environment that allows this right and pay the consequences that follow?
