Digital TV switch set for early 2009

RE: Digital TV switch set for early 2009: I feel everyone is missing the real issue... greed! As in each needless new law that is implemented. This is just one more way our government gains control over US Citizens.
Yes this will effect me personally, as I cannot afford the current rates of cable, dish, etc... I rely on a TV Antenna to bring me whatever channels it pulls in, currently 4 local, that's it. But it's better than none. This has nothing to do with whether I am tech sauvy, because I am. It has to do with income verses expenses. Therefore, I know I will never be able to afford the cost that everyone will be incurring with the change. Guess I won't have a need for a TV after this new law goes into effect! Thank goodness I've always preferred my stereo!
Wait until all this goes into effect and see how well this won't work in inclement weather and in areas like mine where I have to go outside to use my Verizon Cell Phone (since I had to switch it from analog to digital and "upgrade").; Posted by: poemwriter Posted on: 12/13/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
