New Digital Divide
This whole changeover process is sure to create an even greater digital divide than we have now with a segment of the public now being unable to watch TV.
If they really want to get the changeover to occur quickly then congress is going to have to do what Great Britain did and give everyone that wants one, one decoder to insure that everyone will still be able to watch TV. Otherwise, this is going to keep dragging on. This is unlikely though because the Republican Party has shown recently in cutbacks that the poor don?t matter.
