Who wants to make a bet? I'll wager that one of the last acts by
Congress in 2008 will be to extend this deadline, just a little
further out into the future.

I guarantee you, there's not a single Congress-Critter who wants to
run for re-election as "the guy who broke your television". How
many meaningless deadlines are they going to set and then re-
extend?
