I wonder...
Since BPL will cause power lines to act like antennas that transmit on ham frequencies, I wonder if the antennas also pull in transmissions on ham frequencies. If that's the case, all it would take to disrupt service is a few disgruntled hobbyists with vehicles, mobile mounted 300W amps and antennas tuned to the right frequencies, and a noise (uh, I mean signal) generator at the right frequencies. For less than $1000 of easy-to-get equipment, someone could degrade service to the point where no one wants it.

If I could think of this in the time it took me to read the article, what will the really teed off people who live this stuff come up with in a few years?
