That's why....
I choose to go to the effort to learn about & build my own PC's and have done so since the early 90's. I bought a Kaypro and Compaq when I first started and the Compaq convinced me I didn't want to buy brand names. I realize building not an option for a lot of people whic is a shame. I can't help but wonder if the Apple Exec mentioned ever gets his hands dirty.

Too bad I can't build a laptop, but don't need one badly enough to go for HP, Gateway, Dell or the other junk that's out there.
