How about this? The costal highway need bridges to support INDUSTRY. Guess how it was paid for?
Hey, do you know why there are a fleet of Coast Gaurd ice breakers in the Great Lakes? Yup, so INDUSTRY can continue during the winter. Care to guess who pays for this fleet and it's operation?
Unfortunately your argument is not comparable, because the government own all those assets you mentioned.
