Nothing againt Teachers

My mother was a teacher. I've personally done a lot of tutoring in my college days. I have nothing against teachers.

If I had my way, I'd spend less on the education budget and pay the teachers almost double what they get now but expect much better results from them. Money has never been the issue since education spending (even adjusted to inflation) has gone up every year. It's just that it isn't spent on the teachers. It's just that the inner city schools are like war zones where teacher?s lives are in danger and they have no authority over the kids.
