This will END the cell phone industry! Watch as one tower after another gets taken down by endless litigation, with sudden holes in the cell fabric emerging from everywhere, consumers fed up with spotty crummy overpriced service, the smiley and ringtone industry collapsing under the savage weight of consumer disgust over crummy cell service..the industry eventually disappears from lack of demand due to all around pitiful service.
The Paris Hiltons of the world will have unwittingly invented a whole new form of therapy: former cell phone addicts. These convalescents will go to clinics, much like drug, liquor, and bulimia clinics, and they will each be handed a cell phone that used to have service. Then they will each take turns doing their gestures and walk: the kewl run down the catwalk, where you strut it shakin your booty, thinkin you're so high flyin, flailing your arms about like you're the King Kong of Harlem! The girls will repeatedly over sway their hips, casually flinging their hair from side to side, continually spouting "whateva, whateva". The Vinny's and Antny's of the cool walking world will look very tough and determined as they bark and yammer their fancy jive down the throats of their cell phones, with a look in the eye as though they were talking to Al Pacino or Robert de Niro, pointing ahead as though the jabbing was sayin "we're gonna git those..! You know the kind of people I mean. The ones that talk on the phone while seated at a meal with four people.
Not to mention all the people that will be popping up with strange alien cancers who will happen to live next to one of these former cell phone industrial wonder towers. Wait til the lawsuits from that little doozy send the industry spiraling into a continually devolving litigious NIGHTMARE from which no one involved will escape. In short, my prediction: dump all your cell phone shares NOW.
