Thats why we have inbox filters

Since 2001 phones and email have come a long way.

nowdays this email would have gone straight into the Bulk folder.

In the UK Mobile(Cell) phone billing is a lot different to US. so we would not be charged any extra.

Also i would consider a "call" to be something that makes you physically stop and move to answer. Most SMS have different tones..
