Similar to My Complaint Before SMS
years ago, when cell phones were just for voice calls, i would routinely set my home phone to forward calls to my cell phone (i worked at home). i had a real problem with one national long distance company calling me almost weekly, despite my demands to stop. my problem was i had only 20 minutes of "paid" coverage for $30, and it was quite expensive after that, especially when these calls were forwarded long distance to roaming sites. it finally took a complaint to the oklahoma da to get this company to stop.

while Sinrod's article makes it sound like he's sympathetic with the telemarketer, i have no sympathy. i wish to freely use technolgy i pay for without someone else leeching onto my payments. fine 'em all.
