they don't. I dont know what to tell you. If the problem is what they say it is. Im not really sure what the link is supposed to shed light on. Mobile 5 devices use a tcp/ip link over USB to sync, firwall blocks incoming sync notification from the pocket PC. allow active sync to listen for incoming traffic (outlined in simple steps on MS's web site) problem solved. Or just diable the firewall on the USB interface.

The new version will either include firewall rules or will have the PC send out a pulse every comple of seconds to see if a device is listening.
