Osreinstall parody isn't the only fair use: Criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research sre also allowed. Search engines do the same thing with thumbnails of photos and were sued and it was deemed as fair use becuase they reduced the size down and were used for research.

Although I do think Google is stretching it and they should not be suprised they are being sued as it is not a clear fair use case. It will be interesting to see what the court rules on this one.; Posted by: Ed_Meyers Posted on: 10/19/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
