Splitters don't work on Digital
Sure split it as much as you want but you still have to have a digital tunner box for each TV that gets the split.

In theory you could split after the digital tuner but then every TV has to watch what the digital tuner is tuned into. That's not very effective if my wife is watching Survior and I'm watching the hockey game. To do that you need 2 boxes. Even if you box had dual tuners you can only change channels where the box is located.
