Oh, but you will pay...
If you don't think you will "pay" for tax cuts, sooner or later, just start to wonder where the money is going to come from to pay off the deficit.
The whole "Trickle down theory" was a bust (except for the people at the top). The current tax cuts are just a small bandage on a government that is hemmoraging money.
I'm all for tax cuts when the government has a surplus; however, those who think the government should cut taxes when there is a huge deficit are just asking for trouble, and buying into the hype from special interests.
The government should go back to having a balanced budget. This up and down Yo-Yoing with the parties is foolish.
As for the whole DTV thing, I think it's another special interest ploy, to sell of more bandwidth to giant companies so they can make huge amounts of money off of the publics airwaves.
I say we should LEASE the frequencies, maybe get 20% of the gross...
Then 10 years down the road, it's reevaluated, with the publics interests in the limelight.
(I'm rambling, so that's it)
