what will happen..
If the feds step in, as the internet grows the bigger companies will not add ds3 or sts1's to the network between themselves and their smaller counterparts, thus you will slowly get a bottleneck affect... in other words the pipe between these companies will stop growing, but the internet traffic still grows,,and we will find connections to certain sites will slow to dial up speed.,,,.make them pay, it can't be much in the grand scheme of business...they just don't want to start paying for something they had been getting for free,, well..they can mesure the traffic, and if it says one is bigger, pay up..it's just fair business
