We have public radio and it's free. If you want to listen to it, tune in. If you don't, you are free to listen to regular radio or if you want to pay, you can get Sirus or XM. Are Sirus and XM complaining that they are being ripped off by the gov because of free radio?
NO! They have a product that they think is better than the free one so they charge a fee. Same as what the local telecoms and cable companies can do. Make it faster, more reliable and charge $40+ for it...otherwise, free wifi would be very cool. All municipalities should have it.
Although, who pays for tech support? If you can't connect, do you take the resources of the city's IT staff to get your computer hooked up to wifi while I foot the bill? - Posted by: 314 Posted on: 10/04/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
