Nope the VoIP is responsible. This whole thing is a knee jerk reaction because of some unfortunate accidents.

I agree it is sad that someone died but the cold shot is that life sucks and then you die. Ya cannot monkey proof the world and with new technology not every thing can be addressed at first. I don't think anyone anticipated the acceptance of VoIP this quickly.

Some basshole will sue because 911 was not thought of, you can bet on it.
