- E911 Requirement not as bad as it seems!
- This requirement is not as bad as it seems as first glance. Yes, its a pain in the &$% to do it, yes, its unrealistic for 100% to respond. The one thing that MUST be instilled in all users of VOIP is that it is NOT location specific. The news stories and "Draconion" methods only serve to further this idea. I hope that the FCC doesn't force the issue but maybe it has to be done to get the VOIP vendors to MAKE it location specific. Like force a GPS coordinate query before a phone call can go through. Its for our own safety.
