RF frequencies are probably more of a problem ...
for two reasons. First, they probably carry further with less power than a 60hz frequency. Second, they probably either land smack in the Ham band in question OR they generate significant harmonics that do. So I DO think there is a problem that DOES need to (continue) to be addressed. AND I do think that the Ham operator community needs to insist that it is addressed. But I think that it CAN be overcome AND will be overcome. And, I don't think that people who are simply trying to sandbag the technology with 'it'll never work' claims are being helpful. This technology is needed, and it will happen. The Ham Radio community needs to monitor its progress, and help make it happen. And in the end, as you suggest, I think that a properly placed antenna should be safe from PLB spillover.
