Still a good deal really.
I use SBC at 768 and quite frankly I can't notice a bit of difference between my systems and my sister's which use cable. Cable is supposedly "so much faster", but I don't see it.

Of course, this is just web page loading and email retrieval. I suppose that if one was a gamer or very heavy downloader it might be noticeable. That aside, when comparing DSL at $14.95 and cable at $45/month, I see DSL as being the clear winner for the vast majority of people.
