Some facts for you...
The best voip uses only 90 kbps. DSL and Cable speeds that you pay for are upwards of 1000 kbps. So voip usage is less than 10 % of broadband speeds. Also the average concurrent phone usage is less than 1 out of every 3 lines. So the load is less than 30 kbps at most. Are you telling me that 30 kbps (the speed of dialup connection) is going to bankrupt your DSL or Cable company ?
