Motorola's strengths and weaknesses
Apple dropped Motorola over the CPU issue with the G4 processor
and went with IBM. Motorola makes great stuff up to a point and
then seems to quit as if they're overly cautious about pushing the
limits. I get the impression that Motorola is safe and stable
yesterday technology and that they don't smile very much.
