Re: Great
I sure hope you're right but I won't hold my breath. It seems that no matter who is providing our services, they will have their hands in our pockets and aren't about to let go of a good thing.

Recently in my area (Central Calif.) SBC and the major cable company have been lowering their first year fees to get us to signup for high speed internet. SBC is currently offered at $14.95/month for DSL internet, for the first year. After the year is up the price goes up to around 49.95/month. Many people I know (myself included) are planning on switching to the cable company after the first year. After that, we'll just have to see where the price goes, but I'm betting they will both be in the $40.00 + area. Once they have you hooked on DSL why should either of them lower their prices?

Just my personal opinion, we shall see what happens.

Thanks for letting me vent. Have a great day happy
