LOL.. not to be rude but.. you need to get a clue
If everyone is using VoIP, then there wont be any need for hardline telcos. Those telcos do sell broadband services which will run the VoIP. In that case they will loose the telephone side of their business, but thats the price of technology, converging and making things better and more compact. VoIP is just another instance of this convergence.

Just like the cell phone manufacturers who are going to loose out to people who make convergence devices and can use VoIP to route cell calls. You think VoIP is going to hurt telco's, it will complete obliterate cell phone companies. The cell phone companies have a chance to turn it around by setting up wireless networks and using VoIP for their services, then they would be the ones putting the "hardline" telcos out of business.
