- But many of them don't want this either
-
---Broadcasters---
Don't want to confuse their viewers, or force their viewers to buy
new tvs to keep watching.
---TV set mfgs---
Don't want to be forced to take up a particular set of technology.
Even worse, with all the confusion over the switchover and the
questions on the broadcast flag, they have no clear roadmap for
what they're supposed to be including in their products.
Now Congress, they want this, purely for the extra cash they can
play with. And Media Moguls want this so they can stop you
from recording any tv program and timeshifting. - Posted by: tic swayback Posted on: 07/13/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
