Digital TV switch suggested for 2009

Been trying that for years: The UK Government has been attempting to do this for years but the take up of DAB boxes (free to air digital)/Sky/Cable is still not high enough.

We have a different system in the UK where we pay a TV license which gives us the right to use a TV in house. It also gives us the right to stick with what we've got - an analogue service of 5 quality channels (2 without any adverts) that is just as good as 30 crap ones (with loads of ads).
