I agree with No_Ax on this one ...
Certainly, many of us are familiar with the problems associated with BPL. But to assume that these problems can not be solved is ridiculous. Who would have dreamed only a year ago that 'whisper' techonology would be developed allowing multiple transimissions simultaneously on the SAME frequency from the SAME location? Amazing advances in techonology are occuring all around us and with sufficient funding and talent this problem too will be solved.

I pity people who opinions are based primarily on ideology rather than some degree of objective reasoning. In this case, I stronly suspect that many are trashing this idea simply because they hate the power companies. Nothing wrong with pointing out a problem with a concept, but declaring it unsolvable and ridiculing the effort is extremely presumptive and reveals the underlying bias. How does the saying go ... "Get a life"
