- Yes it can cause issues for nearby Ham operators at a very specific frequency. So what? Ham is a hobbist license, not some gawd given right. But what about emergencies you say? Well I hate to say it but the Ham is far outdated and simply isn't used that way anymore. Time passes, all things change...
