That should be OK
ISP contracts generally forbid redistributing the connection outside the residence. Inside your friend's house (*WITH HIS PERMISSION*) you could also be using your friend's second computer. How is that different?

Cable analogy. If your next-door friend runs a splitter and sends a copy of the cable signal to your house, that's theft. If your friend invites you over to his house to watch a pay-per-view movie on his TV, that's OK, as long as he doesn't charge you cash. This is for residences. The rules for commercial establishments (e.g. sports bars with cable TV) are different.
